hospitalar. Método: Pesquisa metodológica, com abordagem quantitativa para
tratamento e análise dos dados. Contemplou duas fases: elaboração do instrumento
de averiguação do desempenho ocupacional e validação do conteúdo. A construção
Ministério da Saúde e do. Foram elaboradas três versões do instrumento: lactente;
pré-escolar /escolar; e adolescente.
A consolidação
peritos previamente selecionados respectivamente.
validade do instrumento.
Introduction: The survival of children with heart disease has increased with the improvement of medical and surgical interventions. However, there is growing evidence of neurobehavioral sequelae. When considering the complexities of clinical demands in pediatric cardiology in the hospital context and the wide age range included in the pediatric clinic, the research object is reaffirmed. Objective: To develop an instrument to investigate the occupational performance of children and adolescents with heart disease in hospital. Method: Methodological research, with a quantitative approach for data treatment and analysis. It included two phases: elaboration of the evaluation instrument to investigate the occupational performance and content validation. The construction of the instrument took place through an integrative review and analysis of assessment instruments in the field of pediatric occupational therapy, having as reference aspects of pediatric cardiology; the American Association of Occupational Therapy; and the International Classification of Disability and Functioning of the Ministry of Health. Three versions of the instrument were elaborated: infants; preschool/school; and adolescent. Semantic analysis and content analysis were performed using the Delphi Technique. The consolidation of these two processes occurred through the consensus of two groups of evaluators and seven previously selected experts, respectively. Results and final considerations: The articles were evaluated by two reviewers. A total of 1,765 articles were found, 24 of which were selected after reading the title and abstract; and 12 articles included, after full reading. The semantic analysis was completed in 02 rounds, and the content analysis in 04 rounds. Once these steps are completed, the three versions of the instrument to investigate the occupational performance are prepared. Future steps will follow, with a view to reliability and validity for finalizing the instrument. Interest in contributing to the field of occupational therapy focused on pediatric cardiology is highlighted.
