Resumo
As doenças cardiovasculares estão entre as principais causas de morte nos
países desenvolvidos, e sua prevalência é ainda maior em países em
desenvolvimento. Pacientes submetidos à cirurgia cardiovascular
frequentemente apresentam disfunção pulmonar e redução da capacidade
funcional no pós-operatório imediato. Nas primeiras 48 horas do pós-operatório
utilizam-se diversos recursos fisioterapêuticos, dentre eles a cinesioterapia que
visa otimizar a função cardiopulmonar, a capacidade funcional e a qualidade de
vida desses pacientes. Foi realizado uma revisão de escopo que descreve a
cinesioterapia no pós-operatório de cirurgia cardiovascular, dentro das bases
de dados Pubmed/Medline, BIREME, SciELO e LILACS afim de identificar quais
recursos são mais utilizados no referido período. Foram utilizadas as seguintes
definições associadas ao operador booleano AND: cirurgia cardíaca,
reabilitação, pós-operatório de cirurgia e terapia por exercício. Artigos
relacionados a resenhas de livros, artigos de revisão, ensaios clínicos e livros.
Conclusão: a cinesioterapia tem um papel importante no pós-operatório de
cirurgia cardiovascular, no entanto ainda é realizada de forma heterogênea.
Cardiovascular diseases are among the leading causes of death in developed countries, and their prevalence is even higher in developing countries. Patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery often have pulmonary dysfunction and reduced functional capacity in the immediate postoperative period. In the first 48 hours of the postoperative period, several physiotherapeutic resources are used, including kinesiotherapy, which aims to optimize cardiopulmonary function, functional capacity and quality of life for these patients. A scope review was carried out that describes kinesiotherapy in the postoperative period of cardiovascular surgery, within the Pubmed and VHL databases, in order to identify which resources are most used in that period. The following definitions associated with the Boolean operator AND were used: cardiac surgery, rehabilitation, postoperative surgery and exercise therapy. Articles related to book reviews, review articles, clinical trials and books. Conclusion: kinesiotherapy plays an important role in the postoperative period of cardiovascular surgery, however it is still performed in a heterogeneous way.
